Terms and Conditions for Ironwork Sales
and Installation
Following discussion and specification overview, including
a site visit (if required) and acceptance of quotation.
Written confirmation of your order is required before we proceed
with manufacture.
This must be submitted to: Earthtools Top Floor, 35-37 Tavistock
Street. Bedford. MK40 2RB
Due to the products being bespoke, refund will not be available
following manufacturing commencement, unless agreed with Earthtools.
Products supplied and installed
Manufacturing work will commence following written order and our
receipt of 50% payment for the complete order including installation
costs as quoted.
The balance (50%) is due upon completion of installation.
We reserve the right to charge extra accordingly, should difficulties
arise due to adverse site conditions not disclosed to us in advance.
Samples of products can be brought for you to view on a visit to
your site of installation.
On site Obstacles
You must specify if there is any underground obstacles, including
drainage, gas/pipe, electric supplies.
The site should be prepared to the agreed status prior to our fixing
team arriving.
A suitable plan or photographs of the site must be supplied if we
do not visit prior to an installation required by our team.
Product Supply and Delivery
Only
Full payment is required when ordering goods. Manufacturing will
take place following payment.
Measurements
If we are required to take measurements for products, it is our
responsibility to make these measurements precise.
Measurements supplied by you or your designated builder/installer
will be those that the products are manufactured to and we can not
be held responsible for mistakes in these.
Gradients should also be supplied, included alongside height and
lengths.
where a gate/railings are to the side of a house or wall, the distance
from the edge (corner) should be included.
Externally looking at a gate please specify which side the hinges
are to be (single gates).
Specify which way you wish the gates to open (double gates).
For railings and gates please choose the rail heads you require.

Manufacturing time and delivery
Generally lead times are 3-5 weeks as a guide. Before ordering will
will assess how long this process should be and also arrange a suitable
date for installation if required.
Guarantee
Gates, staircases and railings are guaranteed for 1 year.
Products that have been galvanized are rust guaranteed for 1 year.
Products just finished with powder coating are not guaranteed against
rust.
Automation systems for gates are guaranteed for 3 years.

It is worth printing the form and submitting it along with your
order details, when signed this then becomes a contract of product
order/supply. Details of specifications and further information
will then also be clear if you are supplying these.
In this case, a record/copy should be also retained.
